I Left A Truck Show

You read the headline correctly. I left a truck show….to go look a truck. Last Saturday during the typical midday lull of the National Brockway Truck Show I snuck away to grab a photo of a truck I had spied the previous day during the Huskie Run. Of course it was an International 2574, the only truck worthy of leaving a truck show.

And low and behold on the way back to the Brockway show I found….a Brockway!

From those in the know it was recently sold at a farm auction. Hopefully to stay in the area and someday grace the streets of Homer the 2nd weekend in August.

Lost and Found – Mack Truck in a Field

It’s always hard to tell in farm country if an old truck in field is really lost and found or simply in the middle of a job. This old Mack dump truck could easily have been left here years ago or just the day before. Who can know for sure?

2024 ATCA National Meet – Part 2

Each year the ATCA National Meet seems to kick of a little earlier and earlier. In years past I tried to make this a one day show but it’s simply not possible to capture and appreciate what Macungie is with just one day.

Most of the footage in this video comes from Thursday afternoon which really helps to put into perspective how many trucks would ultimately be on hand.

ATCA 2024 National Meet – Part 1

On the heals of the ATHS national convention comes the 2024 ATCA National Meet in Macungie, PA. While I enjoyed my time at York my mind kept wandering to the following weekend and the father of all trucks show, Macungie. This year the show jammed over 1,000 truck on the show field, shattering the both the previous year record and the all time record.
